Law Enforcement Guidelines

This page serves as a clear guide for authorized government, law enforcement, and regulatory agencies requesting information or account restrictions from Cyne App.

1. Our Commitment to Legal Compliance

Cyne (managed by Banisu Technology) operates strictly within Nigerian financial regulations. We cooperate fully with recognized law enforcement agencies—such as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)—to keep our platform free from cybercrime, fraud, and money laundering.

2. Requirements for Valid Requests

To protect our users' privacy, we do not disclose account parameters or transaction logs without proper legal authority. For a request to be processed, it must meet the following criteria:

  • Sent by an official government or law enforcement agency using a verified official email domain.
  • Accompanied by a valid judicial warrant, court order, or formal letter of investigation signed by an authorized officer.
  • Clearly specify the user identity indicators (e.g., registered phone number, email address, transaction hash, or bank payout account).

3. Immutable Records Avaialble

Because our infrastructure records absolute logs of all activities, we can assist verified investigations by pulling the following unalterable historical details:

Verified account information (linked legal names, input BVN or NIN parameters), incoming blockchain address details, device identifiers (UDID/IP history), converted Naira values, and final destination commercial bank codes.

4. Urgent Asset Freezes & Anti-Fraud Actions

If an account profile is flagged for routing stolen mobile airtime (Airtime-to-Cash fraud), dealing with blacklisted crypto wallets, or using compromised commercial banking credentials, Cyne triggers an automatic internal safety hold. We preserve the administrative right to freeze the corresponding Available Balance immediately while waiting for a formal regulatory audit or law enforcement request.

5. Where Submissions Should Be Routed

All legal requests, document orders, and official letters must be directed straight to our centralized compliance backlog desk via the contact points below:

  • Legal Department Mail: legal@cyne.app
  • Main Attention: Banisu Technology Security Operations Team
  • Review Window: Validated law requests are acknowledged within 24 operational hours.
